Q-Care is a scheme where we take care of all your ISO management system requirements. It allows companies to reap the benefits of a dedicated professional in either quality, environment, information security or Health and Safety on a time-shared basis, to compliment your existing management team, without the cost of employing a full-time Manager to manage your ISO certified system.

This is a popular option for companies wishing outsource quality control to keep overheads costs low, yet achieving optimum levels of excellence within the organisation. Depending on your requirements, your Q-Care consultant could attend ½ a day or a full day on a monthly, quarterly or bi-annual basis. What tasks does the Q-Care scheme cover?

  • Liaise with statutory and regulatory bodies, customers and suppliers
  • Carbon verification, Environmental supply chain management.
  • Liaise with your assessment body and provide ISO surveillance visit support

  • Monitor and report on Service Level Agreements
  • Develop your system to incorporate elements of other ISO standards i.e. Information Security.
  • Chair management review meetings
  • Conduct supplier audits

How does the scheme work?

There will be routine visits where the Q-Care manager will be on-site, and in addition to this the client may call Blackmores or e-mail to request advice.An annual fixed fee is agreed once the defined responsibilities and time quota have been confirmed. A payment plan is agreed to smooth cash flow.

What costs are involved?

It is dependent on the time quota required, but typically costs range from £600 per annum up to 25% of the cost of a full-time Quality Managers salary.
